Hello, I’m

Agyei.

I’m an interdisciplinary designer from Trinidad & Tobago, focusing on solving business and product problems with type, graphics, and code.

Over the past 13 years, my work has taken the form of brand identities, web sites, fonts like the one you’re reading, lettering, editorial designs, and creative concepts. I also

essays and interviews, and

about design, prepare workshops and lectures, and produce unhinged-but-wholesome

content.

In Trinidad, I’ve been channeling the learnings from my wins and losses into running the

 Studio, an award-winning agency that uses design to create technology, brands, and products for Caribbean contexts. I've also been using my experience in brand and product to help create better bespoke typefaces and lettering for ambitious global brands.

Right now, I’m trying to centre the things I make less than the outcomes they lead to and the people they impact. This means I won’t be available for every kind of work—either way, I’d love to talk to you about the kind of difference you’re trying to make, and how I can help.
